01    Who we build for

Most of our work starts with a shop that has outgrown WhatsApp

Every project on this list needs a different cart, a different checkout and a different back office. We scope for the ordering pattern first, then pick the platform.

Retailers moving online

You sell from a shop, Instagram or a WhatsApp catalogue. You need a real cart, online payments, courier pickups and one place to see orders.

D2C brands

Design and speed decide your conversion rate. You want bundles, subscriptions, offers, clean analytics and a store that loads fast on 4G.

Manufacturers

Technical catalogues, drawings and specs, dealer logins, quotation requests and enquiries that reach the right sales engineer.

Wholesalers & distributors

Customer-specific pricing, MOQ and slab rules, credit terms, repeat orders and an ordering screen your dealers will actually use.

02    Services

Ecommerce website development, end to end

Seven things we do. If your project needs something outside this list, we will tell you rather than stretch to fit it.

Shopify development

Theme development and customisation, store setup, product and variant structure, apps chosen carefully, Indian payments and shipping wired in. The fastest route to a clean, reliable store.

Theme devAppsMigration

WooCommerce development

WordPress stores you own outright — custom themes, plugin work where it is genuinely needed, sensible hosting, and the discipline to keep the plugin count low so the site stays fast.

Custom themesPlugin devSpeed

Custom ecommerce

When the business logic will not fit a plugin: pricing engines, configurators, unusual checkouts, headless storefronts and APIs. Built to be maintained, documented and handed over.

HeadlessAPIsDatabases

B2B ordering portals

Dealer and distributor logins, price lists per customer, MOQ and slab pricing, credit limits, quotation flows, repeat orders and approval steps — with ERP or Tally kept in sync.

Dealer pricingMOQ rulesERP sync

Multi-vendor marketplaces

Seller onboarding, catalogue approval, commission rules, split payouts, per-vendor shipping and the admin tooling to police it. Always starts with a paid discovery, never a guessed quote.

Redesign & migration

Moving between Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento, or rebuilding a store that stopped converting. Products, customers, orders and URLs migrated with redirects mapped so rankings survive.

Maintenance & integrations

Monthly support that covers updates, backups, security, bug fixes and small changes — plus new integrations as you add couriers, marketplaces or accounting software.

03    Problems we get called for

The six reasons people usually pick up the phone

  • “Orders come on WhatsApp and we lose track”

Screenshots, voice notes and a diary. We move you to a catalogue with stock, payment links and an order list your staff can work from.

  • “People add to cart and disappear”

Usually a slow, long or confusing checkout on a phone. We rebuild the flow, cut the steps and make payment options obvious.

  • “The site is slow and nobody will touch it”

Plugin sprawl, unoptimised images, cheap hosting, an abandoned theme. We audit page speed and Core Web Vitals, fix what is worth fixing, and rebuild what is not.

  • “Stock, invoices and shipping don't talk”

Someone re-types every order into Tally and the courier panel. We connect the store to your accounting, inventory and shipping provider.

  • “Dealers keep calling for rates and stock”

A portal with their price list, their credit position and last order repeat takes that traffic off your sales team permanently.

  • “We've outgrown the template we started on”

Volume, variants or workflows the theme was never built for. We plan a migration that keeps your traffic and your data intact.

04    Signature offer

We do not stop when the store goes live

Most agencies hand over a working store and disappear. You can instead have the same team work on its organic visibility for the next twelve months, against a written scope.

Package A

Store Launch

The store built properly, with search foundations in place. No ongoing engagement.

Package B

Ecommerce Growth, 12 months

The store, then a structured first year: categories, products, content, Merchant Center, monthly reporting.

Package C

Custom Commerce Growth

Next.js or headless architecture for custom workflows, with the same twelve months of growth work.

See the SEO service and packages

Development and SEO are priced separately, so the cost of growth work is never hidden inside a build quote.

05    Choosing a platform

Shopify, WooCommerce or custom — the honest version

We build on all three, so we have no reason to push one. Here is where each genuinely wins, and where it starts to hurt.

Shopify

Fastest to a reliable store

Best when
  • Non-technical staff will run the store
  • You want hosting, security and updates handled
  • Standard retail or D2C selling
Where it hurts
  • Monthly platform and app fees add up
  • Unusual pricing or B2B rules need workarounds
  • You do not own the platform code

WooCommerce

Ownership and flexibility

Best when
  • You want to own files, data and hosting
  • Content and SEO matter as much as the cart
  • You need custom fields, roles or pricing logic
Where it hurts
  • Someone must own updates and backups
  • Too many plugins will make it slow
  • Hosting quality decides your speed

Custom build

When the workflow is the product

Best when
  • Dealer pricing, quotations or configurators
  • Marketplace payouts and seller controls
  • Deep ERP, WMS or legacy system integration
Where it hurts
  • Longest timeline and highest budget
  • Needs a maintenance plan from day one
  • Wrong choice if a plugin would have done it

07    Process

Eight stages, and you know where you are in each

Scope is agreed in writing before development starts. Changes are quoted separately instead of quietly stretching the timeline.

  1. Discovery

How orders reach you now, who handles them, what breaks. Products, pricing rules, delivery areas.

  2. Scope & platform

A written feature list, platform recommendation with reasons, timeline and what is explicitly out of scope.

  3. UX & design

Category, product, cart and checkout designed on mobile first, then desktop. Reviewed before any code.

  4. Development

Built on staging with weekly demos. You see the store working before it is anywhere near live.

  5. Integrations & catalogue

Payments, shipping, invoicing and stock connected. Products uploaded and checked, not dumped.

  6. Testing

Real test orders, refunds, failed payments, COD, tax and pin-code edge cases. Responsive layouts on real phones, plus speed and accessibility checks.

  7. Launch

DNS, an SSL certificate and HTTPS, redirects, analytics and Google Search Console. Staff walked through the admin before handover.

  8. Support

Updates, backups, monitoring and small changes on a monthly plan — or handed over fully if you have a team.

08    What we build

Two live stores, and the order flow behind them

Both sites below are live. Open them, put something in the cart, try the wholesale enquiry — we would rather you checked than took our word for it.

Both are custom Next.js builds. Shopify and WooCommerce case studies go here as those projects go live and permissions come through.

Live site

Birthday Boom (opens in a new tab)

Kids' return gifts and party supplies from ₹10. Five hundred products across three categories and five themed collections, combo packs, UPI and cash on delivery, flat shipping that goes free over ₹999. Built on Next.js.

Next.js · custom build · 500+ SKUs

The Birthday Boom homepage: a hero reading Big smiles, tiny prices, with navigation for Return Gifts, Party Material, Under ₹50, Themes and Combos.
Live site

Raisinly Farm (opens in a new tab)

Retail and wholesale in one store. Three raisin varieties in consumer pack sizes with a normal cart, and a separate bulk track — 5kg to 25kg, rates on request, a call button straight to the bulk desk. The dealer side of a B2B build without a second website.

Next.js · custom build · retail + wholesale

The Raisinly Farm homepage: Premium raisins from the Sangli-Tasgaon region, with Shop Raisins and Enquire for Wholesale actions and a Wholesale item in the navigation.
Live site

Fontswala (opens in a new tab)

Digital products rather than parcels. Decorative Devanagari display fonts sold from ₹199, with bundles, licence tiers for personal and commercial use, and delivery by download the moment the payment clears. No stock to count and nothing to ship, which changes what the checkout and the policy pages have to do.

Next.js · custom build · digital delivery

The Fontswala homepage: a hero reading Turn a single line of Hindi into a poster, beside a featured font, PD Kamala, priced from ₹299.
Process diagram

One order, from tap to doorstep, with nobody re-typing anything

The whole point of connecting payments, invoicing, stock and courier properly. Every step here is automatic once it is wired up, which is what turns an online catalogue into a business that scales.

  1. Order placed Stock reserved
  2. Payment captured UPI, card or COD
  3. GST invoice HSN and place of supply
  4. Stock reduced Shop, web and marketplace
  5. Label and pickup Courier API
  6. Customer told WhatsApp and email

HONEST BY DEFAULT — the first two are live sites you can open and check for yourself. The third is a diagram, not a screenshot of anything. No invented results, no stock photography, and no logo wall of clients we have not worked with.

09    Cost

What actually decides the price of an ecommerce website

We do not publish a package price, because two stores with the same product count can differ by a factor of five. These are the eight things that move the number — a costed proposal follows a scoping call.

Business model

A straightforward retail cart, a dealer portal with pricing rules, and a marketplace with payouts are three different sizes of project.

Platform choice

Shopify trades a lower build cost for monthly fees. Custom is the reverse. WooCommerce sits between the two.

Design depth

A configured theme, a customised theme, or a designed-from-scratch storefront. Each step adds design and front-end time.

Catalogue and variants

Fifty clean SKUs is an afternoon. Three thousand with variants, specs and images that need renaming is a workstream.

Integrations

A payment gateway is routine. A two-way ERP or Tally sync with stock and invoices is real engineering.

Custom features

Configurators, quotation flows, subscriptions, loyalty, multi-warehouse logic — each is scoped and priced on its own.

Content readiness

Whether photography, descriptions and policies exist. Producing them is a genuine cost line, not an afterthought.

Recurring costs

Hosting or platform subscription, apps, domain, gateway fees and maintenance. We list these separately so nothing surprises you.

Pick what applies. You get a scope summary and the cost drivers that apply to you — no fake price on the screen.

10    Why Pune businesses work with us

Close enough to sit across the table

We are in Shaniwar Peth and have been building for the web for over ten years. Ecommerce is what we specialise in now — not one service on a long list. The studio was founded by Yogesh Jadhav, who still writes code on every project.

That matters most in the messy parts of a project: agreeing dealer pricing rules with a sales team, sitting with warehouse staff to see how dispatch really works, or getting a stubborn Tally export to line up with your product codes.

We work across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad — Pimpri, Chinchwad, Hinjawadi, Bhosari, Chakan and Hadapsar — and remotely for clients elsewhere in Maharashtra.

Same city, same working hours

Meetings at your office or ours, calls answered in Pune hours, and WhatsApp for the small things.

We know the local ordering patterns

Dealer rate lists, credit terms, MOQ, part-load dispatch and GST invoicing are normal requirements here, not exotic ones.

You own everything at the end

Code, admin access, domain, analytics and documentation are yours. No hostage hosting, no locked logins.

We will talk you out of the wrong build

If a ₹6-lakh custom platform is not what your business needs yet, we will say so and scope the smaller version.

In their words

What clients say

Over 500 products, most under ₹50, almost all with colour and quantity variations. Our old site could not handle it — customers messaged us just to ask whether something was in stock. They understood how we sort by age group and theme before writing any code. Filters work, bulk pricing applies automatically, and they trained my staff to add products themselves.

Yogesh Nankar · Founder BirthdayBoom.in
Birthday return gifts and party supplies

We are farmers first, so selling directly online was completely new to us. I asked for a big fancy website and they told me to start smaller and put that money into proper product photography instead. Live in about three weeks, with weight-wise pricing and courier charges by pin code set up properly. Orders are steady and growing every month, and for the first time we own our customers.

Pankaj J. · Owner RaisinlyFarm.com
Farm direct raisins and dry fruits

Our earlier developer stopped replying once the final payment was made, so I was cautious this time. Spices need 100g to 1kg options, with packing date, batch and FSSAI details visible — all handled without me explaining twice. In March and April traffic went up several times over and the site never went down. Replies come the same day, and the pricing was clear from day one.

Mr. Satav · Owner Satav.in
Spices and masala

Our masala business ran on the shop counter and phone calls for years. I kept postponing the online part, assuming it would be too technical for me to manage. GST invoices, payment gateway, WhatsApp order alerts, separate retail and wholesale rates, all explained in plain language. My son learnt the admin panel in one afternoon and now handles the orders himself.

11    FAQ

Questions we get on the first call

If yours is not here, ask it on WhatsApp — you will get a straight answer, not a brochure.

How much does an ecommerce website cost?

It depends on eight things: model, platform, design depth, catalogue, integrations, custom features, content and recurring costs. We give a fixed written quote after a scoping call, itemised by module, so you can drop or defer parts. We do not quote before understanding how your orders work.

How long does it take to launch?

A focused Shopify or WooCommerce store with a clean product list is usually a few weeks. B2B portals and marketplaces run longer because the rules need agreeing before they can be built. In practice, the slowest part of most projects is product photography, descriptions and approvals on your side — we tell you exactly what we need and when.

Shopify or WooCommerce — which should I pick?

Shopify if non-technical staff will run the store and you want the platform maintained for you. WooCommerce if you want to own everything, publish a lot of content, or need custom fields and pricing logic. If dealer pricing, quotations or ERP sync are central, neither is a clean fit and we will suggest a custom build. The selector above gives you a starting view in four questions.

Will you upload our products?

Yes. Send whatever you have — an Excel sheet, a Tally export, a folder of photos, or a printed catalogue. We agree a product-data structure first (categories, variants, HSN, weights for shipping), then import in bulk and check a sample by hand. Large or messy catalogues are quoted as a separate line so you can see the cost.

Can we take payments and arrange delivery from day one?

Yes, provided your KYC is in order. We help you apply for a payment gateway and connect it, set up UPI, cards, netbanking and cash on delivery, and wire in a shipping provider so labels and pickups are raised from the admin. Gateway approval timelines depend on the provider, so we start that paperwork early.

Who owns the website and the accounts?

You do. The domain, hosting or platform subscription, payment gateway, analytics and code repository are registered in your business name. On handover you get admin logins, documentation and a walkthrough for your staff. If you later move to another developer, nothing is locked to us.

What happens after launch?

A short warranty period covers anything that does not work as scoped. After that most clients take a monthly plan covering updates, backups, security, monitoring, bug fixes and a set amount of change work. It is optional — if you have an in-house team we hand over cleanly and stay available for project work.

Is the store built for SEO?

The technical groundwork is included: clean URLs, editable titles and descriptions, headings, structured data for products, image optimisation, sitemaps, a fast mobile experience and redirects on migration. Ranking also needs content and links over time — that is ongoing work, and we will not promise positions or dates.
